Veritally Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 October 2026 Effective from: 25 October 2026

These Terms are a contract between you and Veritally, an MSME registered under Udyam (UDYAM-KR-03-0777667), of Bengaluru (Urban), Karnataka, India (postal address for legal notices on request at [email protected]) ("Veritally", "we", "us"). They cover your use of the website and app at veritally.in (the "Service").

Please read them. When you tick the box at sign-up and create an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms work together with:

If any of these conflict with these Terms on a specific point, the more specific document wins on that point.

1. What Veritally does

1.1. Veritally helps marketplace sellers check whether they were paid correctly. You download your own reports (for example payments, orders, returns and settlement reports) from your Meesho, Amazon India or Flipkart seller panel, and your bank statement. You upload them to Veritally. We compare them and show you differences, payout explanations and suggested claim text.

1.2. What we do not do:

  • We never log in to your marketplace seller account or your bank account.
  • We never ask for your marketplace or bank passwords. Never share them with us.
  • We never file claims, tickets or disputes on your behalf. We prepare suggested claim text. You decide whether to file it, and you file it yourself.
  • We do not collect money from marketplaces for you, and we do not hold your money.

1.3. Our results are evidence-based suggestions. A difference is a question, not money owed. A marketplace may have a valid reason for a difference that your reports do not show. We do not promise that any marketplace will accept a claim or pay you anything.

1.4. Veritally is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meesho, Amazon or Flipkart. See our Disclaimer.

1.5. AI help (optional). Some features use an AI model: reading a report layout we have not seen before (you confirm the reading before it is used), explaining a result in plain words, wording a claim, explaining charge names, and answering questions from our guides. AI wording can be wrong or incomplete. Every amount, count and order number shown with it comes from Veritally's own checks, not from the AI. Read AI wording before you rely on it or send it. See our Privacy Notice for what the AI provider receives.

2. Who can use Veritally

2.1. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract under Indian law. Veritally is not for children.

2.2. You must use Veritally for your own selling business, or for a business you are authorised to act for. If you sign up for a business (for example a company, LLP or partnership), you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms for it. In that case "you" means both you and that business.

2.3. Many of our users are sole proprietors. Nothing in these Terms takes away any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be waived by contract.

3. Your account

3.1. You sign up and sign in with your Google account. We receive your name and email address from Google; we never see your Google password.

3.2. Give us accurate details and keep them up to date.

3.3. Keep access to your email and Google account secure. Anyone who can open your email or Google account may be able to open your Veritally account. Tell us at once at [email protected] if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.

3.4. You are responsible for activity on your account, unless it happened because of our fault.

3.5. One person or business per account, unless you are on a Business plan that allows more. Do not sell, share or transfer your account.

4. Your data and your responsibilities

4.1. You confirm that:

  • the reports and bank statements you upload are your own business records, or you have the right to use them;
  • you have the right to let us process them as described in our Privacy Notice; and
  • the files are genuine and you have not edited them to change amounts, dates, statuses or references.

4.2. Accuracy. Our results depend on the files you give us. If a file is incomplete, wrong, edited, out of date or in an unexpected format, our results may be wrong. Check every result against your seller panel before you rely on it or file a claim.

4.3. Other people's data. Marketplace reports can contain your buyers' details. Our app is built so that your browser does not read customer names, addresses or phone numbers, and only sends the limited columns described in our Privacy Notice. Do not try to get around this, and do not upload other people's personal data to us in notes, claim text or support messages unless it is truly needed.

4.4. You are responsible for your buyers' data; we process it for you. For personal data of your buyers that reaches us (such as order numbers), you are the data fiduciary and we are your data processor under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You confirm you have a lawful basis to share it with us for checking your payouts. We process it only to provide the Service on your instructions, keep it secure, delete it when you delete it or your account, and tell you without delay about any breach affecting it.

4.5. Claims you file. You are responsible for any claim you file with a marketplace. Read and edit the suggested text before you use it. Only file claims you honestly believe are correct. Follow each marketplace's own rules and deadlines.

4.6. Your own records. Keep your own copies of your reports. Veritally is not a backup or record-keeping service for your business or tax records.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • upload files that are fake, altered or not yours, or use Veritally to prepare false or misleading claims;
  • upload malware, or try to break, overload, scan, probe or bypass the security or bot checks of the Service;
  • try to access another user's account or data;
  • copy, scrape, resell or reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows this and cannot be excluded;
  • use Veritally to build a competing product;
  • use the Service in a way that breaks any law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000; or
  • misuse the names or trademarks of any marketplace in connection with Veritally.

6. Plans, payments and refunds

6.1. Free preview. You can upload your files and see a preview for free. The preview shows the total of suspected differences, how strong the evidence is for each type, and why, without the order numbers or claim text.

6.2. Pay per check. You pay only to unlock a check (the full result, order numbers and claim text for one upload). Before you pay, we show you the exact price and how it was worked out. The price is:

  • Rs 0.25 for each new order in the check, with a minimum of Rs 25 for a check that has any new orders;
  • never more than Rs 499 for your first 2,500 orders in a calendar month (India time), across all your checks. Once your payments in a month reach Rs 499, further checks that month unlock free until you have paid for 2,500 orders in it; each new order beyond 2,500 in the month costs Rs 0.25, with the Rs 25 minimum per check;
  • free if we find less than the price. If the money we find with strong evidence in a check is less than its price, the check unlocks free.

These prices are the total you pay: as we are not registered for GST, no GST is added. We charge no commission on money you recover. There is no subscription, no wallet or stored balance, and nothing is charged automatically.

6.3. What counts as a new order. Each unique marketplace order is paid for once, the first time you pay to unlock a check that contains it. Orders are told apart by seller account and marketplace. In every later check, orders you have already paid for (including orders counted under a Growth, Pro or Seller plan) are free, as are later settlement lines, refunds and re-checks for them. If a check unlocks free because the month's Rs 499 is reached, its orders also count as paid. If a check unlocks free because we found less than its price, its orders do not count as paid, so a later check of the same orders may have a price.

6.4. When the price can change before you pay. The price is worked out again when you press pay, and you are charged only the price shown. If something changed in between (for example you paid for another check, or the month's Rs 499 was reached), we show the new price and you decide again. If you pay more than Rs 499 for the month's first 2,500 orders (for example two payments made at the same moment), we refund the part above Rs 499 and invoice only what you keep.

6.5. Growth and Pro plans. Growth costs Rs 1,999 for one month with up to 10,000 unique orders; Pro costs Rs 4,999 for one month with up to 30,000 unique orders. During the month, every check you upload is unlocked as it is processed, with no payment per check, for one account per marketplace. An upload that would go past the month's orders is stopped before it is processed and is never charged extra. A plan does not renew automatically: buying the same plan again while a month runs adds the next month after it (at most one month ahead), and moving up from Growth to Pro starts at once with the Pro allowance. No GST is added.

6.5A. Seller plan bought earlier. The monthly Seller plan is no longer sold. A Seller plan month you have already paid for keeps its terms until it ends: up to 3,000 unique orders in that month, with uploads that would go past it stopped before processing, and no automatic renewal.

6.6. Cancellation. Each payment unlocks one check, or one month of a plan, and is complete once the check is unlocked or the month has started. Nothing renews automatically, so there is nothing to cancel.

6.7. Business & Agency plan. For agencies, several businesses or larger operations, we agree the price, order volume, number of accounts and support in a written quotation. A recovery commission applies only if separately agreed in writing for a distinct recovery service. The quotation applies.

6.8. Investigation help. Investigation help is a separate service, quoted to you in writing before you agree to it.

6.9. Payments. Payments are processed by Razorpay, a licensed payment aggregator. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net banking password. Razorpay's own terms also apply to your payment.

6.10. Invoices. You get an invoice for every payment, available in your account.

6.11. Refunds. Refunds, double payments and failed payments are covered in our Fees, Refunds and Cancellation Policy.

6.12. Price changes. We may change prices for the future. A price change never affects a check you have already paid for, or a price we have already shown you and you accepted.

7. Intellectual property

7.1. Your data stays yours. You own your reports, your data and your notes. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process them only to provide the Service to you, to keep it secure, and as described in our Privacy Notice.

7.2. Claim text. Once a result is unlocked, you may use, copy and edit the claim text and results for your own business, including filing claims and sharing them with your accountant or advisers.

7.3. Our Service. The Veritally software, design, checks, rules, text and brand belong to us or our licensors. Apart from the rights in these Terms, you get no rights in them.

7.4. Anonymised insights. We may create combined statistics that do not identify you or any person (for example, "how often a type of difference appears"). We use them to improve our checks.

7.5. Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.

8. Availability and changes to the Service

8.1. We try to keep Veritally available and working, but we do not promise it will always be available, error-free or uninterrupted.

8.2. Marketplaces change their report formats. When that happens, some checks may stop working until we update them.

8.3. We may change or remove features. If we remove a paid feature you have already paid for and not yet used, we will give you a refund or credit for the unused part.

9. Disclaimers

9.1. Veritally gives information and evidence-based suggestions. It is not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. For those, speak to a qualified professional.

9.2. We do not guarantee that:

  • every difference will be found;
  • every difference shown is actually owed to you; or
  • any marketplace will accept a claim or pay any amount.

9.3. Apart from what these Terms expressly say, and to the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available".

10. Limitation of liability

10.1. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims connected with the Service, in any 12-month period, will not be more than the higher of (a) the total fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim, or (b) Rs 2,000.

10.2. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for:

  • money a marketplace does not pay you, or a claim it rejects;
  • loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill;
  • indirect or consequential loss; or
  • loss caused by wrong, incomplete or edited files you uploaded, or by claims you chose to file.

10.3. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, our failure to protect your personal data as required by law, or anything else that cannot be limited under Indian law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for reasonable losses, costs and legal fees we suffer because a third party (for example a marketplace or a person whose data you uploaded) makes a claim against us that arises from:

  • files you uploaded without the right to do so;
  • false or misleading claims you filed; or
  • your breach of these Terms or the law.

This does not apply to the extent the loss was caused by our own fault. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and let you take part in handling it.

12. Suspension and closing your account

12.1. You can stop using Veritally and delete your account at any time from the app (Account > Delete my account and data). Our Privacy Notice explains what we delete and what the law requires us to keep.

12.2. We may suspend or close your account if:

  • you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms;
  • we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse or a security risk;
  • a court, regulator or law requires it; or
  • you do not pay amounts you owe us.

12.3. Unless the law, a security risk or an investigation stops us, we will tell you first, give you the reason and, where it is fixable, give you a reasonable time to fix it. You can challenge our decision through our Grievance Redressal Policy.

12.4. If we close your account without fault on your part, we will refund any unused prepaid amounts. Sections 4, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13 and 14 continue after your account closes.

13. Governing law and disputes

13.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

13.2. Talk to us first. If you have a problem, please contact our Grievance Officer (see Grievance Redressal Policy). Most issues can be sorted out quickly.

13.3. Courts. Subject to clause 13.4, the courts at Bengaluru, India have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.

13.4. Your consumer rights. If you are a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, you may also approach the National Consumer Helpline or a Consumer Commission, including the one where you live or work, as that Act allows. If your complaint is about personal data, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India once the relevant provisions apply, after using our grievance process.

14. General

14.1. Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. For important changes, we will email you or show a notice in the app at least 15 days before the change takes effect, unless the change is required by law sooner. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before the change takes effect. Changes never apply to a payment already made.

14.2. Electronic contract. These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000. Ticking the box and creating an account is your acceptance; no physical signature is needed.

14.3. Language. If we provide these Terms in another language, the English version applies if there is a difference in meaning.

14.4. Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events we cannot reasonably control, such as outages of our hosting providers, internet failures, natural disasters or government action.

14.5. Transfer. We may transfer our rights and duties under these Terms to a business that takes over Veritally, if your rights are not reduced. We will tell you if this happens. You may not transfer your account without our written consent.

14.6. If part is invalid. If a court finds any part of these Terms invalid, the rest still applies.

14.7. No waiver. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.

14.8. Whole agreement. These Terms and the documents linked in them are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. A written quote for investigation help or a Business plan adds to them for that service.
