Veritally help centre: every seller question, answered

Quick answer

Upload your marketplace payments (settlement) report to start a check; it is the one file a check cannot run without. Add your orders report to find delivered orders that were never paid, and your bank statement to check that every payout reached your bank. Seeing the result is free; unlocking order numbers and claim text costs ₹1 an order, ₹49 minimum, and never more than the money found.

Key points

  • Payments report: required. Without it nothing can be checked.
  • Orders report: optional, adds the 'delivered but never paid' check.
  • Bank statement: optional, adds the 'did the money reach my bank' check, matched by UTR.
  • All three files together give a complete check. Any file you skip only switches off its own check, and the result says which checks did not run.
  • Free to see the result. ₹1 an order to unlock claims, ₹49 minimum, free if the money found is under ₹49. No subscription, no auto-debit, no commission on Starter, Growth or Pro.
  • Your files are read on your own phone. Buyer details are removed before anything is sent. Veritally never asks for any password.

Start here: which files do I need?

FileNeeded?What it checks
Payments or settlement reportRequiredEvery charge in your payouts: commission, shipping, returns, repeated deductions
Orders reportRecommendedDelivered orders that never appeared in any payout
Bank statementRecommendedThat each payout reached your bank in full, matched by its UTR

Where to download them

  • Meesho: Supplier Panel > Payments for the payments report, and Orders for the orders report.
  • Amazon India: Seller Central > Reports > Payments, then the Settlement report (Flat File V2) or the Date Range report.
  • Flipkart and Shopsy: Seller Hub > Payments > Settled transactions.
  • Bank statement: your net banking > Account statement > choose the dates > download as Excel or CSV.
  • The upload page on veritally.in shows exactly where to click for each marketplace.

Use the same months for every file. The last 3 full months of marketplace reports works well, with the bank statement for the same months plus 7 days after, so late payouts still match.

What if I upload only some files?

A check runs three separate checks: orders (was every delivered order paid?), charges (were the deductions right?) and bank (did the money reach your bank?). Each file switches on its own check. Skipping a file never breaks the others; the result shows which checks ran and which did not.

What you uploadWhat you getWhat you miss
Payments + orders + bank statementThe complete check: all three checksNothing
Payments + ordersUnpaid delivered orders and charge errorsWhether payouts reached your bank (no bank check)
Payments + bank statementCharge errors and short or missing bank creditsDelivered orders that were never paid (no orders check)
Payments onlyCharge errors: repeated deductions, unusual commission or shipping, courier-return chargesUnpaid orders and the bank check
Orders only, or orders + bank statementNothing can be checked yet: the payments report is what shows what you were paidEverything. Add the payments report
Bank statement onlyNot accepted: a bank statement alone has no orders or charges to compareEverything. Add the payments report

You can always run a check again later with the missing file. Orders you have already paid to unlock are free in every later check.

If you are new to selling online

  • What is a payout? The money the marketplace sends to your bank for your delivered orders, after taking its charges. One bank credit can cover many orders, returns and charges together.
  • Why is it less than my selling price? The marketplace deducts commission (Meesho charges no commission on most orders), shipping, return charges, GST TCS (0.5%) and income tax TDS (0.1%). Most deductions are normal. Veritally shows which ones are normal and which ones look wrong.
  • TCS and TDS are not a loss. They are taxes collected on your behalf. You can claim them back in your GST and income tax returns. Veritally marks them "Explained".
  • No orders yet? Try "See a sample result" on veritally.in to see how a check looks, with no sign-in.

If you are not comfortable with Excel or English

  • You do not need to open or edit any file. Download the reports from your seller panel and upload them exactly as they are.
  • Do not open and re-save the files, and do not delete sheets or columns. That can stop them being read.
  • The whole app works in English, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu. Change the language with the EN button at the top.
  • Tap "Explain this result" after a check to get a short explanation in your language.
  • The upload page shows, for each marketplace, exactly where to click to download each file.
  • Stuck? Chat with us on WhatsApp from the menu, or email [email protected].

If you are an experienced seller

  • Several marketplaces: upload Meesho, Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and Limeroad reports together in one check, up to 5 files of 10 MB each.
  • Your own rate card: upload your rate card in the Veritally template to check each order against your agreed commission and shipping, not just against what is usual for that product.
  • Evidence levels: "Strong evidence" means the reports prove it and it is ready to claim. "Worth checking" means something looks wrong but could have a reason; answer the six questions under "Check this difference" first. "Explained" means a normal deduction or a later credit covers it.
  • Claims: each claim is tracked from raised to approved to credited. When a later report shows the money arriving, the claim is marked credited automatically.
  • Monthly plans: from about 500 orders a month a plan costs less than paying per check. Starter ₹499 (up to 1,000 orders), Growth ₹1,999 (up to 5,000), Pro ₹4,999 (up to 15,000). One month at a time, no auto-renewal.
  • Above 15,000 orders a month: the Scale plan has no order limit. It costs a platform fee from ₹9,999 a month plus 5% of the money recovered through Veritally claims, charged only after the marketplace credits it. Talk to us at [email protected].

If you are an agency, accountant or CA

  • A plan covers any number of seller accounts and marketplaces, up to its order allowance for the month.
  • Above 15,000 orders a month, or for many client accounts, take the Scale plan: no order limit, separate billing per client, from ₹9,999 a month plus 5% of the money recovered. Talk to us at [email protected].
  • Want our team to raise and follow up the claims for you? Done-for-you recovery is 10% of the money credited, and nothing if nothing is paid.
  • Each order is paid for once per seller account and marketplace, so re-checking a client's months costs nothing extra.

Privacy and safety

  • Your files are read inside your phone's browser. Only order numbers, product codes, dates, statuses and amounts are sent to Veritally, encrypted. Buyer names, phone numbers, addresses and UPI IDs are removed first.
  • Veritally never asks for your marketplace, bank or email password, and cannot log in to your accounts, move money or raise tickets for you. You send every claim yourself.
  • From the Account page you can withdraw your consent, which deletes your saved checks, or delete your account and everything in it.

Paying and refunds

  • Seeing the result of a check is always free.
  • To see order numbers and claim text, unlock the check: ₹1 for each new order, ₹49 minimum, and never more than the money found with strong evidence. If that money is under ₹49, the check unlocks free.
  • Pay by UPI or card through Razorpay. No GST is added. Nothing renews or is charged automatically.
  • Paid twice, or paid but the check did not open? You get a refund or the check is unlocked, as set out in the refund policy.

Frequently asked questions

What if I upload only my orders report and not my bank statement?

If you upload the payments report and the orders report, Veritally checks for delivered orders that were never paid and for charge errors. Only the bank check is skipped, and the result says so. The orders report alone, without the payments report, cannot be checked, because the payments report is what shows what you were paid.

What if I don't have my bank statement?

Upload the payments report, and the orders report if you have it. You still get the order and charge checks. Only the check that each payout reached your bank is skipped. Add the bank statement in a later check to complete it.

Which file is compulsory?

The payments or settlement report from your seller panel. Without it nothing can be checked. The orders report and bank statement are optional but each adds a check.

Can I upload only my bank statement?

No. A bank statement on its own has no orders or charges to compare, so it is not accepted alone. Upload it together with your payments report.

Can I upload only the payments report?

Yes. Veritally then checks the charges in your payouts, such as repeated deductions and unusual commission or shipping. To also find unpaid orders add the orders report, and to check your bank add the bank statement.

How many months of reports should I upload?

The last 3 full months of marketplace reports works well. Take the bank statement for the same months plus 7 days after, so payouts that land late still match.

Which file formats work?

Excel (.xlsx), CSV, and text (.txt) files such as Amazon's settlement report. Up to 5 files of 10 MB each in one check. PDFs cannot be read. Open an old .xls file and save it as .xlsx.

Do I need to edit the files before uploading?

No. Upload them exactly as downloaded. Do not open and re-save them, and do not delete sheets or columns.

Which marketplaces are supported?

Meesho, Amazon India, Flipkart (including Shopsy), Myntra and Limeroad reports are read column by column, plus Razorpay and Cashfree settlement reports for sellers with their own website or Shopify store. Reports from AJIO, Nykaa, JioMart, Snapdeal, Tata CLiQ and others are read by matching column names, so payouts and bank matching work.

Can I check reports from two marketplaces together?

Yes. Upload them in the same check, up to 5 files. Each marketplace is checked on its own rules.

Is it free?

Seeing the result of any check is free. To see order numbers and ready-to-send claim text you unlock the check for ₹1 an order, ₹49 minimum, never more than the money found with strong evidence. If that money is under ₹49 the check unlocks free.

Will I be charged automatically every month?

No. There is no subscription, wallet or auto-debit. You pay only when you choose to unlock a check or buy one month of a plan, and plans do not renew by themselves.

Do you take a commission on the money I recover?

Not on pay per check, Starter, Growth or Pro. Only the Scale plan for big sellers includes a 5% share of money recovered, or 10% if our team raises and follows up the claims for you, and only after the money is credited.

If I upload the same report again, do I pay again?

No. Each order is paid for once per seller account and marketplace. Orders you already paid to unlock are free in every later check.

Is my data safe?

Your files are read on your own phone. Buyer names, phone numbers, addresses and UPI IDs are removed before anything is sent, and what is sent is encrypted. Veritally never asks for any password and cannot move money. From the Account page you can delete your saved checks or your whole account at any time.

Do you need my Meesho, Amazon or bank password?

Never. Veritally does not log in to any of your accounts. You download the reports yourself and upload them.

Will Veritally raise the claim for me?

No. Veritally writes the claim text with the order numbers filled in. You copy it, raise it in your seller panel's support section, and mark it as raised so Veritally can track it.

What does Strong evidence, Worth checking and Explained mean?

Strong evidence: the reports prove it, so it is ready to claim. Worth checking: something looks wrong but there may be a reason, so answer the six questions under Check this difference first. Explained: a normal deduction such as TCS or TDS, or a later credit, covers it.

Are TCS and TDS a loss?

No. GST TCS (0.5%) and income tax TDS (0.1%) are taxes collected on your behalf. You can claim credit for them in your GST and income tax returns. Ask your CA for your own case.

What is a UTR?

The Unique Transaction Reference number of a bank transfer. It appears in your payments report and in your bank statement, so Veritally uses it to match each payout to the money that reached your bank.

I am new and have no orders yet. Can I see how it works?

Yes. Tap See a sample result on veritally.in. It shows a full check on example data, with no sign-in.

I don't understand English well. Can I use it in my language?

Yes. The app works in Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and English. Tap EN at the top to change. Explain this result gives a short summary in your language.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Veritally is built for phones and works on budget Android phones and iPhones in the browser. You can also add it to your home screen like an app, with nothing to download from the Play Store.

Why does sign-in need Google?

Veritally uses Google sign-in only, so no password is stored with us. Any Gmail account works.

When should I choose a monthly plan?

From about 500 orders a month a plan costs less than paying per check. Starter is ₹499 for up to 1,000 orders a month, Growth ₹1,999 for up to 5,000 and Pro ₹4,999 for up to 15,000. Above that, the Scale plan has no order limit. Every check in that month is unlocked as you upload it.

I manage many sellers. Is there a plan for agencies?

Yes. Plans cover any number of seller accounts and marketplaces up to the month's orders. Above 15,000 orders a month or for many clients, the Scale plan has no order limit and separate billing per client: from ₹9,999 a month plus 5% of the money recovered. Talk to us at [email protected].

Some of my payouts are not found in my bank statement. Why?

The bank statement may not cover the same months plus 7 days, or the marketplace may pay into a different bank account. Download the statement for the account your marketplace pays into, for the right dates.

It says no report was found in my file. What do I do?

You may have uploaded a different report. Download the payments or settlement report again from your seller panel and upload it without opening or editing it. If it still fails, email [email protected].

How do I get a refund?

If you paid twice, or paid and the check did not open, you get a refund or the check is unlocked. Email [email protected]. The refund policy on veritally.in has the full rules.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. On the Account page, withdrawing your consent deletes your saved checks, and Delete account removes your account and everything in it.
