1.5 kg

1 slab more than the actual weight, because the box is bigger than it needs to be. A box under 5,000 cm³ would bill at 1 kg.

Couriers re-weigh parcels and can bill a heavier slab after a weight dispute. Veritally checks every parcel's billed weight against what you shipped.

Questions sellers ask

How is volumetric weight calculated?

Length × width × height in centimetres, divided by 5000 for most Indian couriers (some air services use 4000). The courier bills whichever is higher: the volumetric weight or the actual weight.

What is a weight slab?

Couriers bill in steps, usually of 0.5 kg. A parcel of 0.6 kg is billed as 1 kg. Every step up adds to the freight.

Why was I charged for more weight than I shipped?

Usually because the box was larger than needed, or the courier re-weighed the parcel and raised a weight dispute. Keep packed weight and box size photos, and check each parcel's billed weight against what you shipped.

How can I check every parcel for weight overcharges?

Veritally compares the weight each parcel was billed at with the weight it was shipped at, across your whole courier invoice, and lists the overcharges with a claim ready to send.
